Her girly chick flicks bore you, so why can’t football bore her? The problem is probably that you don’t show her anywhere near the level of passion you show your favourite football team. Women are jealous creatures – what does that TV screen have that she doesn’t? Even if you do show her the same level of love, your attention isn’t focused on her during a match.

Furthermore, women just can’t win! When they do show an interest in football, such as the gossip, who that player is married to, who’s the best looking, who looks the funniest when they’re running etc. If she gets shouted at every time she shows any interest at all, then you have no right to complain!
